F.A.T. Mankei

Our story begins in a restaurant near the border between Salzburg and Tyrol, at a height of 2262 meters next to one of Europe’s most spectacular high alpine roads. F.A.T. Mankei, possibly the coolest motorsport-themed alpine hut, will host our welcome lunch while we enjoy the epic views from the famous Grossglockner mountain. At just under 10 hours’ driving from Brussels, this is the ideal starting point of another epic rally.

Ice Race

F.A.T. International is the owner of this alpine hut, known for the fantastic GP Ice Race hosted yearly in Zell Am See. The GP Ice Race is a yearly event for young and old, with a wide variety of special street and race cars. The event can be seen as the Goodwood Festival of Speed, but on snow and ice. Motorsport history continues on past Ice Race, with further links to Le Mans 24 hours endurance racing with a Porsche 962 C and GT1 in the olden days and now back since 2024 in FIA WEC. A company with serious history for serious drivers.

Grossglockner

The Grossglockner High Alpine Road is Austria’s highest continuous paved road, reaching a total of 2504 meters and is often well above the clouds. The mountain is known for the glacier on top which can be seen from the parking lot, but also from various motorsport events throughout the years. The ’Glockner Races’ and ’Glockner Grand Prix’ were famous hill climb events that hosted a spectacular range of cars. The almost 50 kilometer long Grossglockner Alpine road is a toll road and can only be enjoyed during summer.

MY Arbor

Welcome to MY Arbor, where luxury meets sustainability in the heart of nature’s embrace. Nest Suite

These 38 square metre rooms offer panoramic windows of the surrounding mountains and the Eisack valley. The modern character of the rooms combined with the locally sourced natural materials give a cosy vibe, while the private balcony offers fresh air and relaxation with a view. All rooms are equipped with a soft box spring bed and a private bathroom with rain shower. The suites are all located among the trees, high above the ground. This gives the guest a unique and relaxing experience, ideal after a fun day of driving.

Spa Arboris

Pampering of the finest from head to toe is promised by the Spa Arboris. In the large spa, guests can enjoy five saunas as well as an ice spring, cold water pool and relaxing rooms. The experienced team of the beauty centre offers treatments using products from top local brands Vitalis Dr. Joseph and Trehs as well as the Pharmos Natur label. Spa treatments are based on trees and plants – the combination and beneficial effect of the local tree varieties bring body, soul and mind into unison.

ICE Q

We end as we began: with an absolute highlight. Restaurant ICE Q welcomes us for Sunday lunch atop the Gaislachkogl. The restaurant is led by chef Klaus Holzer, who specializes in preparing dishes that taste good at higher altitudes. An absolute experience for all the senses.

Restaurant ICE Q is located at 3048 meters above sea level, making it the highest gourmet restaurant in Austria. It is often above the clouds and offers views of more than 250 peaks over 3000 meters high in the region. The restaurant is a masterpiece of modern design, with its stunning mirrored glass facade and accompanying transparent architecture seamlessly blending into the landscape. A unique structure at high altitude which is truely a sight to behold provides us with the perfect conclusion to our event.

007 Elements

ICE Q also played a prominent role in the James Bond film Spectre. Daniel Craig meets Madeleine Swann in ICE Q, which was renamed the Hoffler Clinic for the occasion, followed by an exciting chase scene over the glacier. Next to ICE Q, we find a museum about the film, accessible to our participants: 007 Elements. This exhibition provides insight into the production of the film and showcases some unique set pieces, such as the fuselage of the plane Bond crashes. Outside on the mountain, we also find a Spectre edition Defender originally owned by Harry Metcalfe.

Subscribe

The number of places for the rally are limited so it is best to sign up as soon as possible. The price for the complete rally is 3375 EUR VAT included and is mentioned per car, based on two participants sharing a room. Participation without co-pilot or with co-pilot but in seperate rooms is also possible.
